The Environmental Health Association of Ireland is established for the benefit of the public. Our main objectives are the promotion of environmental health and the dissemination of knowledge to improve environmental and public health.

We achieve these objectives by

1. promoting education and training in matters relating to environmental health so as to ensure the effectiveness of our members and their usefulness to the community;
2. promoting the dissemination of the knowledge of environmental health in the belief that such knowledge is beneficial to quality of life; and
3. maintaining high standards of practice and professional conduct by all its members.
