The EHAI is a registered charity, dependancy on the support of our members is paramount. It is only through the continued involvement of our membership that the EHAI can continue to promote Environmental Health and to educate, advise and heighten the awareness of Environmental Health issues among the public and the profession.
Applications for membership are proposed at central council meetings. Decision to award membership rests with central council and criteria for membership is contained within the Articles of Association.
Please forward Completed applications form and standing order form for the to the EHAI. Along with copies of any qualifications you want to support your application. A postal address and a signature is required.

The standing order form is for 31st of March each year
As this date has passed please forward payment for 2015 by cheque, postal order or Bank Draft. This should be made payable to the EHAI for €57. The standing order will kick in from March 2016.
Full Membership
Appropriately qualified persons holding a BSc. in Environmental Health is eligible for full membership.
Fellowship may be awarded on merit or on submission of an acceptable thesis.
Associate Membership
Associate membership is available to suitably persons holding some appointment in connection with Environmental Health or have an interest in the field of Environmental Health once approved by the Central Council. Associate membership is available to persons working outside the profession or domiciled in other countries. They shall not have the right to vote.
Student Membership
Student members shall be persons who are at least 16 years of age and who are studying with a view to their ultimate qualification as a Health Inspector, Environmental Health Officer or Environmental Health Inspector. They shall not have a right to vote.
